Married to Dave Pratt (THS '65)

I started college at BU with Linda Kamens as my roommate but found BU to be too big and … too far from a certain Dave Pratt … so I transferred to Clark University in Worcester, where I got a BA degree in mathematics. Dave and I married right after college and never decided to have children. I worked at programming jobs, went back to school for an MBA from MIT Sloan in '81, and continued with technical management jobs until I joined Dave in his company for about 10 years. We sold the company and retired in '95.

I had become interested in art, so was free to get more serious about it. I went back to school (again) for a Post-Bac certificate from the Museum School in 2000 and then an MFA from Mass Art in 2003. I think I've finished getting degrees, but you never know. I am currently a member of the Bromfield Cooperative Art Gallery in Boston and show regularly there. I love to travel and Dave likes to stay home, so I've found an artist friend to travel with, combining art with sightseeing. Dave and I have lived close to Boston ever since we married and are currently settled in a '50s contemporary on a small pond in Dedham, enjoying a quiet life.
